Sharing your goals and achievements with your peers every Wednesday
The basic premise of the group is this – every Wednesday you announce to the group your goal or goals for the next 7 days. The focus of the group is stretch goals. The ones which are just outside your comfort zone, but within the realm of what you believe is possible.
Making that hard phone call. Publishing that controversial post. Doing that public talk.
There’s no judging. No competing. Just support and encouragement. Honest talk and accountability.
Once you’ve stated your goal it’s up to you go do the work. Knowing only that you’re going to report back the following Wednesday to the group, whether you were successful or not.
If you successfully complete your goal – Winner! You can bask in the appreciation of your peers for facing the fear and doing it anyway.
If you don’t. Well, you’ll probably learn something in the process of explaining what went wrong.

Is this only for Entrepreneurs? Yes.
How do you define Entrepreneur? You’re making something or you have a service that you have to sell yourself. If you’re trying to build an audience, a list, a market, awareness for your unique value, then jump on board.
If you have a boss that tells you what to do and when to do it, this isn’t for you. If you’re a freelancer who just works for one client this isn’t for you. If you just like to make stuff but you try to have other people do the selling bit for you, this isn’t for you.
Where will it take place? A private Google+ group.
What will be required of me? This isn’t a group for lurkers. It’s a group for people who want to connect and cheer each other on. Whilst you might not have a new goal to pursue every single week, ongoing membership will depend upon your participation and general support of other members every Wednesday.
Other than that, you can choose to share your goals and your results, as often as you find motivating. Think of it this way, how often do you procrastinate when faced with one of the everyday challenges of entrepreneurial life? How often do you end up being sucked down the Buzzfeed whirlpool on Facebook? Don’t you wish you had somewhere more useful to go, shake it off, get a quick boost from people who understand you, and then jump back into your mission?
How much will it cost? There’s no charge. This is just likeminded people connecting through the shared passion and struggles of entrepreneurship in a safe environment.
Are there any rules? Be honest, be kind, be supportive. That’s all.
How many people will be in the group? I don’t know at this stage, but likely pretty small. How cool would it be to have a handful of people who completely understand the struggles and challenges you go through on a weekly basis?
How do I join?
Step 1) Get yourself a Google+ account. https://plus.google.com/ (Takes 5 minutes) If you have a gmail email address you probably already have one. Make sure you have filled in the basics of your G+ profile, so I can see who you are, a brief description of what your business is, link to your website etc. Make sure you’ve got a real headshot (No avatars etc. This is a real group for real people.)
Step 2) Add me on Google+ https://plus.google.com/+PaulMontrealSubvert and just send me a note saying “Winner Wednesday”. If you look legit I’ll invite you to the group and you can just follow my lead on Wednesday.
